Does your website suck? Step 1 is admitting it

Step 2 is contacting us and doing something about it
In today's world, a website is an essential part of your business marketing plan. There are many advantages to having a website over not having a website. But if your website sucks, it could be doing more bad than good. Here are 10 advantages of having a website that doesn't suck.

1. Cheaper and more flexible than print
The Internet is extremely different from print advertising. Space is cheap, your advertisement is accessible longer, the content can be changed easier, especially if you use a content management system, and it's easier to reach a wider audience.
2. You're open 24/7, 365
Unlike a brick and mortar office, your website is open 24/7. Imagine your customers being able to reach you and request information at anytime. In my opinion this is 1 of the greatest advantages to having a website. Holidays, nights, weekends, your office may be closed but your website is still open.
3. Offer Convenience
The internet has made researching products simple. Rather than having to get in the car are drive to a few different locations to compare prices and products, you can now click a couple times and easily see the price differences. You can even read reviews to see what others think about the product.
4. Value and satisfaction
Offering convenience, easy access to information and the feeling of individualized service, you are giving your customers value for coming to your website. A satisfied customer is a happy and returning customer. If your website keeps your customers happy, you'll get much more return business.
5. Standardize sales performance
The ability to quickly and easily change information will allow you to see what produces and what doesn't. This will allow you to narrow your approach down to what works, and not waste time on what doesn't.
6. Improve credibility
Your website gives you a chance to show potential customers that you are an expert in your line of work and that you deserve their trust and confidence. Many people use the internet to research products, read reviews, and determine whether the product or service is worth their time and money.
7. Promote your brick-n-mortar presence
Put directions on your website. There are apis available from websites like mapquest.com and google.com, where you can allow your customers to get directions to your location without even leaving the page. How much easier can you make it for your customers to find you? This will save them a lot of frustration in getting lost trying to find your address.
You can also promote your sales and special offers on your website. And why wouldn't you? Even if only 20 people see your promotion online, they may tell 5 people, and they may tell people, and before you know it your special promotion goes viral and everyone knows about it.
8. Growth Opportunity
A website is a great place to refer potential investors, as long as you have a quality website. You can show investors what your company is about, what it has achieved and what it can achieve in future.
9. Communicative marketing
24/7 customer service, enough said. There is no need to have 24/7 phone support. Your website, open all the time, offers customers the opportunity to contact you any time they need support.
10. Free market research
Polls, surveys, and analytical software enable you to learn more about your customers and how they feel about different aspects of your business. Analytical software, such as Google analytics, is free and offers a wide variety of information about your users such as referring websites, keywords search for, and geographical location of the user. Used properly, this information can help you target specific markets and take advantage of the fact that you know what your customers are looking.
The benefits of having a website that doesn't suck are pretty clear. So if you have a website that does suck, why are you still reading this? Contact us now!
