Working With Barney's New York

For the past few weeks I have been involved in a new project with Barney's New York. They had an immediate need for an HTML specialist with a web development background for a project with a very tight deadline. The Barney's New York store located on 61st and Madison Avenue in Manhattan, NY is being renovated and included in the renovations is a state of the art cafe. The cafe includes a digial touch screen ordering sytem, which also displays ads to Barney's products and Barney's news and updates, known as "The River". The products and articles will be scrolling by and people will be able to click the item and find out more information and that's where I come in.

My involvement in this project is creating the product and article pages that will scroll on "The River". These pages are plain HTML pages. The big challenge in the project is developing an automated system, that goes to the Barney's website, grabs the required products and articles, reformats them, saves any videos or images, and saves the html page to be added to "The River". In just 1 week I was able to develop a solution using PHP that can be run daily and keeps "The River" updated with fresh content.

Have a rush project you need to get done? Give me a call at 732-925-4044 or send me a message from my contact form. No project is too big and no budget is too small so get in touch and we can get this done!
