"BAECA LLC is a freelance drafting and design company located central New Jersey. My name is Brian Ackerman and I am the owner and currently the sole employee. I became interesting in AutoCAD while taking technical drawing classes in highschool. Although the focus was creating drawings by hand, I often spend time in front of the computer teaching myself how to use the software. I then attended a community college after graduation in 2002 and took numerous courses to further my knowledge. After attaining my Associates in Applied Sciences degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting in 2005, I worked as a Professional CADD operator for almost 6 years. During this time I was exposed to a wide range of engineering, structural, and architectural disciplines. Since late 2010 I decided to leave my position and return to school full time to work towards an B.S. in Engineering. I also decided to launch my own Freelance Design and Drafting Business. My goal is help small as well as large engineering, construction and architectural firms reach their drafting and design goals utilizing Autodesk AutoCAD software. In today's economic climate, when work comes in waves, the cost of affording a full time team of drafting technicians is high during the lulls.
